Body Treatments
At Tranquility we offer three different types of microderm abrasion and exfoliating body treatments performed by trained estheticians and massage therapists. These include a smoothing body polish for least sensitive skin, a sugar scrub for medium and the sea salt glow for more intense exfoliation. After a brief consultation, the therapist will begin the treatment that is best suited to your skin type and preference.
All treatments are 30 minutes in length for $45

Description of Massage Treatments
Acupressure is a Traditional Chinese Medicine technique based on the same ideas as acupuncture. Acupressure involves placing physical pressure by hand, elbow, or with the aid of various devices on different acupuncture points on the surface of the body. Shiatsu (Japanese from shi, meaning finger, and atsu, meaning pressure) is a traditional Japanese hands-on therapy based on anatomical and physiological theory. Shiatsu technique refers to the use of fingers and palm of one's hand to apply pressure to particular sections on the surface of the body for the purpose of correcting the imbalances of the body, and for maintaining and promoting health.
